Meet Your Coach

Healthier at 40 than 30
Varying the workouts can be key

About Me

Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, living in the Greensboro, North Carolina area, along with my daughter and our 3-legged rescue mutt named Belle.

I am a former teacher and pharmaceutical sales rep turned work at home mom, entrepreneur, and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. I spent my twenties to early thirties riding the diet roller coaster, having a horrible sense of financial management, marrying the wrong man, becoming a mom and then wondering how I got to be where I was. I watched my mom struggle with her health, her finances, and her sense of self from the time she hit forty until she passed away at the age of sixty-seven. I promised myself that I would do better.

In my mid thirties, I took a look at my life and knew I had some major changes to make. I was an exhausted single mom who had gained substantial weight because I didn’t understand my autoimmune disorder, was frustrated with being broke, getting up working a job that I no longer enjoyed, and left me feeling as though I constantly had to choose between providing for my daughter and actually getting to be there to enjoy the life I was providing.

I began making changes, learned how to fuel my body better, came off of twice weekly allergy injections and prescription migraine medicine as a result of those changes. I learned how to cook, implemented the Dave Ramsey plan and post massive layoff and $26,000 cut in pay, managed to pay off $42,000 in debt. As I shared my journey of getting healthier and figuring out finances, I found my passion for helping others get their lives in order. After the second round of job cuts, I took that as God’s sign that it was time for me to pursue my passion and leverage my training, job backgrounds, and experiences to become my own boss. I decided to pursue my entrepreneurial calling to align with a health and wellness company that allows me the ability to earn a residual income as a result of helping others achieve their health and financial goals and got certified as a Health and Wellness Coach.

As a single mom, I have learned some massive lessons on organizing, time management, creating quality time with my daughter, focusing on a healthy relationship with my significant other, financial tips and tricks that sometimes blow my mind on just how tight of a budget I had to make it on at times, and most important of all, how to fill my own cup.

My blog posts will focus on sharing some of my life adventures and how I am living my healthiest happiest life, inspiring other moms, like you to pursue the same happiness. What matters most to me though, is helping other moms, just like you get started on your journey.
